Old Town Farmers Market – It’s all good!
Okay so we know we are easy to please but every week we squirm with excitement all week waiting for Saturday to arrive so we can see our favorite people and delectable goodies at the Old Town Farmers Market again. Everyone knows the OTFM is the best place to grab some produce and fixin’s for a wonderful dinner but don’t rush out, join us for a walking tour of OTFM, Schmooze-style, and stop by and give these friends some love!
FnB
Make sure to start your morning off right with a fresh doughnut from FnB (complete with the hole). But hurry up, these amazing doughnuts are usually gone quickly! Be prepared to wait in line, the crowd forms as soon as the doughnuts hit the table! Expect the goods to arrive about 9ish and you won’t miss out, if you happen to sleep in and miss breakfast, don’t fret. FnB also brings their own tasty twist on lunch with mouth-watering sandwiches, made fresh to order. It is a great way to sample all the great things about FnB we love, including Pavle Milic who can usually be found spooning up the Meyer’s Lemonade and entertaining the guests.

Saffron Kitchen
Second stop is Saffron Kitchen for the most amazing pot pies! Did we mention these are not the pot pies you are used to micro-waving, oh no! Saffron Kitchen has pie perfection down to a science, featuring some of the sexiest pies in town! Their artisan pies are baked by a Le Cordon Bleu Trained Chef, Andrea White, and feature flaky butter crusts, hearty fillings and fresh natural ingredients. Baked the same day, you will delight in the variety available with fun names like sassy, swanky, sultry and spiffy, where else can you find a pie to fit your every mood? Check them out at www.saffronkitchen.com.

Truckin’ Good Food
Did you notice the big catering truck in the middle of OTFM? That’s our friends at Truckin’ Good Food and they will gladly serve you the best crepes around and if you actually want to watch the team in action, there is a waiting room in the front of the truck with a ring-side seats for the show! Schmooze was hoping some of the crepe-cooking skill would rub off on us but no luck, we still can’t cook crepes as good as the experts! http://truckingoodfood.com/

Tom Mein
Happen to hear that wonderful music? Chances are it is provided for your listening pleasure by none other than local favorite Tom Mein on guitar and is the perfect backdrop to all the other fun things at OTFM. Stop by and give Tom a thank you and check out his CD’s for sale! Tom Mein on Facebook

Whew, that’s a lot of fun packed into one morning!
